Indranil Dutta is the Founder & Chief Analyst at NexMind Advisory, with over 20 years of experience in market research, technology strategy, and data-driven business advisory. He founded NexMind to help organizations navigate growth, disruption, and digital transformation through evidence-based insights and decision frameworks that leaders can act on with confidence.

Indranil is known for decoding complex markets, uncovering customer and enterprise buying behavior, and translating market signals into strategic clarity for senior decision-makers. His advisory work spans global enterprises, technology majors, and high-growth scale-ups, supporting decisions across product strategy, go-to-market, category creation, and growth acceleration.

Before NexMind Advisory, Indranil held senior leadership roles at leading research and consulting firms. As Vice President at Kantar, he led the Technology and B2B Research Practice, driving insight-led engagements across cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and telecom. His earlier roles at IDC and IBM strengthened his expertise in technology markets, enterprise IT buying centers, ecosystem dynamics, and digital transformation across Asia Pacific.

Indranil holds a B.Tech (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering from Vidyasagar University and a PGDM in Marketing from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad, and is currently pursuing his PhD at IIM Sambalpur, with research focused on technology, leadership, and business innovation.

A prolific writer and industry speaker, Indranil has authored numerous articles on enterprise technology and digital transformation and regularly speaks at CXO forums. He also teaches and mentors at a leading business school in Bengaluru.
